Just the Tonic @ Lincoln Theatre Royal
Saturday, 29th May 2010
Fancy a giggle, chortle, guffaw, titter or belly laugh? Check out an impressive comedy line up at our Theatre Royal!
After a successful comedy night on the 6th May, ‘Just the Tonic’ returns with a follow up event that looks to have all the right ingredients for a night of laughter on Thursday 10th June.
First to step up will be Junior Simpson, who has recently been flattered with the label ‘‘the new Lenny Henry’’ by the British public. Having worked with the likes of Jo Brand, Rolf Harris, Frank Skinner and Jonathan Ross and writing for ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’, Junior is guaranteed to open the second show with a bang!
As one of the most requested comedians throughout the world the only thing to expect from our next act, Wes Zaharuk is the unexpected. Using his offbeat humour and wacky props Wez astounds audiences with his crazy and comical crusades. His set is not to be missed!
Next up we have the winner of the 2009 Leicester Comedy Festival Comedian of the Year. Seann Walsh’s set is reminiscent of Michael McIntrye, which is sure to have the audience in stitches.
Last but not least is Simon Bligh who regularly delights a wide range of audiences with his energetic and acute observations. Juxtaposing his affable, conversational style with a fearless and animated performance this will guarantee to end the Lincoln Theatre Royal’s second Just the Tonic in style.
