Vintage shop Tasty Vintage has just opened the doors of its new bridal salon. Strictly appointment only, this wedding service is tailor made to the bride and offers a first hand seamstress for the perfect fit.
Nestled in a listed building at the base of Lincoln’s Steep Hill, goldmine boutique Tasty Vintage has announced the opening of their bridal salon next month. Owner and vintage enthusiast Harriet Sullivan has certainly asserted a niche in the local wedding market, which has already attracted interest from London.
Alongside day and evening wear, shoes, accessories and iconic artifactual gems, Tasty Vintage will be opening their dedicated bridal salon archiving unique bridal wear to suit all preferences and specifications.
The service offers the bride a personal, tailor-made consultation in a private salon devoted to provide an unforgettable experience aimed to make your dress hunt less of a stress and more of a joy. The preparation that goes into each appointment will be adapted to suit each individual client from general preferences to era, fabric, colour and accessories. Every appointment will be accompanied by a seamstress to ensure the best fit and quotations on alterations immediately.
Harriet’s penchant for vintage clothing and accessories has developed a much loved hobby into a business in which she shares profound knowledge and advisory expertise. For the first time she will be uncovering her vast private collection of wedding dresses. With the recession still lingering, Tasty Vintage are offering a personal service with one off pieces that provide a luxury at reasonable prices. Awareness of ethical fashion is largely present in the industry at the moment and vintage and second hand fashion is ripe in the market.
From early 20th century up to the 70s, and with iconic and notable styles from almost every era, preferences can be met for even the most demanding of brides to be. Consultations are strictly appointment only, with a prior interview regarding personal preferences.
