Back to Mono is a music shop located off Lincoln’s high street in The Mall, offering vinyl, merchandise and other music paraphernalia and rare collectables.
Run by Lincoln local, Jim Penistan, Back to Mono offers a vast array of music paraphernalia. Jim previously owned renowned music shop Sonic Sounds for 17 years, and decided to open Back to Mono in December 2009.
Besides the personal service, the shop stocks an eclectic collection of new and old vinyl, t-shirts, posters and framing service, books, vintage turntables, amps and speakers and accessories. The shop also offers a vinyl cleaning service.
Back to Mono also holds a night at Scy nightclub once a month, playing music from Motown to 60s Garage.

I'm just cuiauots because those of us who are heavy users of social media can get carried away with the technology and forget to look over our shoulders to make sure the rest of the world are with us.One of the things that Steve Clift from Edemocracy.org recommends is that you don't launch a discussion site until you've done the offline recruitment first. If you want to generate conversations you don't want an empty space. You need a critical mass of participants.I don't want to put people off experimenting. It's vital. But so are the more boring parts such as offline recruitment.
