Up and Coming Lincoln
Tuesday, 30th March 2010
Lincoln’s High Street is fast becoming any shoppers dream with many new stores opening up.
After a recession that seems to have lasted a lifetime, it seems to me that Lincoln High Street could be seeing a few important changes.
I know myself and a few others I know have noticed and commented on the amount of empty shops that were appearing up and down the High Street and down the side-streets looking lost and neglected.
In the past decade, Lincoln has gone from a sleepy little town into a thriving city full of up-and-coming businesses. The opening of ‘Fat Face’ on Lincoln High Street has got me thinking about the possibility of Lincoln seeing more and more of these well-known stores opening up and bringing with them job opportunities and the excitement of something new to the city.
Lets hope this ‘modernisation’ and economic well-being continues.
