The Ice Cream Parlour

The Ice Cream Parlour is a family run business located in the Bailgate, offering traditional ice creams, sorbets and sundaes and a range of hot drinks and other home made provisions.

The Ice Cream Parlour has a history of ownership for three generations. The Dennett family first started selling their ice cream in the 1920s in the neighbouring village of Spilsby, where the shop still remains today. Dennets ice cream have won a number of awards, from their high quality award in 1937 to receiving runner up in The Tastes of Lincolnshire Awards in 2005. Originally a 14th Century Inn, the tearooms are located in the basement on the shop located in the Bailgate. During the period between Easter and December, the parlour closes at sunset every day.
