Catch Some Z’s at the Soon to be Improved Travelodge
Friday, 4th June 2010
A Lincoln Hotel is to increase the quality of their guest’s stay by employing sleep wardens.
The Travelodge in Thorpe on The Hill, is taking an unusual step to ensure the hotel guests have a peaceful night’s sleep. They’re planning to employ ‘Sleep Wardens’ in all the chain’s hotels to help with any problems, from noisy neighbours to uncomfortable mattresses.
The new wardens are part of Travelodge’s £10m investment to help customers get the best night sleep. The money will go on replacing mattresses, duvets and introducing new improved pillows along with reorganisation of delivery times so guests are not woken in the middle of the night.
With staff also being trained to help people have a good night’s sleep, the hotel hope that by taking these steps their guests will get the best quality sleep possible to ensure they wake up refreshed and ready to go.
