Battle of the Brayford Hotels

Just when we assume that the Brayford is basking in enough modernization and glory, another state of the art facility appears and knocks us for six.
The local council has given final planning approvals for a hotel which will be based on the Brayford Pool North - situating it near the Holiday Inn which will undoubtedly generate competitive activity between the two establishments.
With an impressive 115 guest rooms, reports claim that the new addition to the waterfront will provide around 90 new jobs within the city, and work will begn within the next six weeks.
It is clear to us all that the plans stand as a response to the escalation of visitors and tourists to the city, and the development will continue to boost the emerging renaissance of Lincoln! Exciting stuff, eh?
