JayDees Restaurant
JayDees has been in Lincoln town centre for many years and offers a choice of simple, value for money meals. It is in an ideal spot for having a snack then carrying on with your shopping.
Although descirbed as a restaurant, it is more like a cafe as it only serves food in the daytime until 5.30pm and 4.30pm on Sundays. It doesn’t have a license for alcohol, so it really is just for having a wholesome meal or little snack whilst passing through. JayDees has plenty of seating both upstairs and down and it is located just behind Dorothy Perkins in the middle of the high street.
The menu is typically British offering snacks such as a toasted tea cake or cheese on toast. There are bigger meals such as burgers or pies and there is also a children’s menu available. The staff are efficient and friendly and prices are hard to beat.

Lincolnista Review
This cafe is in prime location for getting a bit of lunch if you’re around town during the day. It’s behind Dorothy Perkins in the main high street and overlooks the River Witham which runs through Lincoln. It offers what you would expect from a typical English cafe: pots of tea, burgers, sandwiches, traditional breakfasts as well as bigger meals and puddings. It is also child friendly offering a separate kids menu. Prices are very reasonable so if you’re on a budget but still want to go and sit inside to eat, this is the perfect place. You’re in luck if you are a student as well because JayDee’s offers 20% off your bill with a valid student card. If you are looking for a 5 star quality meal you won’t find it here but what you will find is friendly staff, fast service and something which will fill you up without breaking the bank.
