Sakura to Close, New Tiki Bar ‘Lola Lo’ to Open

With a certain amount of unfortunate inevitability Sakura Nightclub will be closing its doors on February 4th but only to reopen under the same ownership as Lola Lo Lincoln.

Eclectic Bars, the owners of Sakura nightclub in Lincoln are to close Sakura and re-open under another of their brands ‘Lola Lo’.  Eclectic Bars say to expect a flamboyant Polynesian feel with a fun and flirtatious feel.  Lola La bars and clubs can be found across the UK in Bournemouth, Brighton, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Norwich, Oxford and Reading.

Eclectic bars have summed up what to expect from a Lola Lo venue - “At Lola Lo, we’ve taken a dazzling array of showstopping cocktails, champagnes and rums and mixed it with an intoxicating blend of credible club classics and contemporary beats and are serving it all in a setting that captures the pure essence of care-free South Pacific joie de vivre.”

With Tokyo and Home both opening in quick succession Sakura was always going to struggle to keep up with clubs several times their size and having had millions invested.  But it really is superb to see that rather than Sakura close down that they’re coming back fighting with an expected refurbishment and a new image.
