Miss Lincolnshire 2012 @ Tokyo

The final will take place tonight, Friday 11 May at Tokyo Nightclub and is guaranteed to be an exciting, glamorous and fun-filled evening, where guests will be able to come along and support their favourite finalist as they compete in three exciting catwalk rounds for a place in the coveted Miss England final in June.

Laura Coleman, Miss England 2008 and manager of Front Models, who are organising Miss Lincolnshire said, “We wanted a chic and sophisticated venue to suit the glamorous style and nature of the event and Tokyo ticked all the boxes”.

Laura added, “We have been flooded with applications for the competition and have been sifting through them to select the best girls to represent the county of Lincolnshire at the final next month. On the whole standards have been extremely high but on the night we will be looking for a well-rounded individual who stands out from the crowd and possesses a natural beauty and flair as well as a pleasant nature and personality.”

The finalists will be required to strut their stuff, and impress the judges, in three glamorous catwalk rounds including little red dress, sportswear and evening wear. They will also have a short one-to-one interview with judges in the afternoon in a bid to win them over with their personality and flair before the evening show.

In preparation for Miss Lincolnshire all the finalists have been tasked with the job of fundraising for the Miss World charity – Beauty with a Purpose, which this year is raising money for the Autistic Society in the UK. The girl who raises the most money for the charity will be awarded the Miss Charity prize on the night of the final. In addition to fundraising, the girls are also taking part in a public vote, the winner of which will receive a Miss Popularity prize on the night.
