Pounded at Ritzy

After a short break over Easter, £ounded made a welcome return to Ritzy nightclub last night.

£ounded is the appropriately given name to the cheap Tuesday night that Ritzy provides us with every week. You are guaranteed two floors of pop, RnB, dance and the odd bit of drum and bass music with the added bonus of that bit of cheese you hate to love…and when drunk enough you like to prove to everybody that you know the words by singing along at the top of your voice!

Tuesdays at Ritzy have fast become the favoured social meeting place for everyone in Lincoln, be that students or local residents. You just know that when Tuesday comes around you don’t need to read a Facebook status to know where people will be heading.

Although it may not be to everyone’s taste (and I must admit it can get repetitive) but I cannot deny that some of the best nights I’ve had in Lincoln have been at good old £ounded, surrounded by the majority of students pulling out their best (or drunken) dance moves. With £1.50 drinks and £1 entry before 11pm, £ounded is a fun night out that won’t break the bank.
