Last Fever Pitch before Easter

Fever Pitch is Engine Shed’s student night which takes place every Wednesday.This was a very last minute event for myself, I’d just been to my friends Ann Summer’s party at the Pavillions, and had about 10 minutes to get back to Brayford to change and meet the girls.

Safe to say all I did was take off my tights, slip on some heels and put some lipgloss on before heading out again, good thing I already had a dress on really.  The only reason I could go was because one of my friend told me you could pay on your card when you got there, word to the wise – you can’t. Such an embarrassment to walk over and tell them I couldn’t get in, thankfully my friend helped me out.

This was 10pm, and it filled up ridiculously quickly and by 11pm the entire dancefloor was filled, and they just kept letting people in. So much so, that they had to open the upstairs bar just so that everyone could fit. Everyone clearly wanted their last bit of the Engine Shed before going home for easter.  I saw all-sorts of dressing up going on, from sexy cave women to the pink ladies. The music made everyone go crazy, dancing around all over the place, bass vibrating through the seats and blasting out of the speakers.

The ever amazing drink deals were on again, so the bar was constantly busy and their was a fair few lads drunkenly putting their arms around us, pinching my friends bum or slapping the rest of ours. But we took it with a pinch of salt, they were really drunk after all.  On facebook a fair few people’s status were about seeing Thomas from Skins at Fever Pitch, but I don’t remember it, so I missed out.  The Promo Team were out again taking photos for their facebook page, so we had a pose for them, and of course for our own photos.

What an event to end the semester with, and by the looks of everyone else who was there, they would agree!
