Bars & Pubs : News

The Glass House is to close on 16th April

Toby Carvery LincolnBut will be reopening 10 weeks later as a brand new Toby Carvery, part of the Mitchells and Butler chain of pub-restaurants.

The Glass House, formerly the ‘Rat and Parrot’ has been a student favourite for many years due to its St. Marks location close to main campus and opposite the large student accommodation that is the Junxion.  Unfortunately with less and less people spending money in pubs and bars then moving away from student offers and towards family friendly restaurants is a sensible move by Glass Houses’ new owners.

Toby Cavery’s are best known as their name suggests for serving Britain’s favourite roast sunday dinner every day of the week with prices starting as little as £5.49.  For more details visit http://www.tobycarvery.co.uk
