A student union contemporary hang out zone for a bite to eat or to watch the football, on several plasma screens.
During the day there is fresh food to suit every one. I had a steak and onion baguette, which was mouth melting and was served quickly by friendly, helpful staff. The large glass doors were open, which let in a fresh but pleasant breeze from the river Brayford.
We then decided to couch it on a snug sofa after our bite to eat. We got our drinks from the glossy bar, which had a variety of drinks available. I had a fresh fruit drink, which was ice cold with a slice of fruit.
Up the spiral, iron staircase we discovered football was obviously on from all the manly shouting at the massive screen. There were many pool tables available upstairs, as well as a funky giant Jenga game.
During the night, it’s fun to have a couple of drinks before the big events of Engine Shed. Student Union happenings are always going on in The Tower Bar, such as slave auctions, which are good fun for the ladies only!
