The Square Sail
Located on the Brayford Waterside, the Square Sail is part of the Lloyds No.1 branch, serving value food and drink seven days a week.
The Square Sail is right on the Brayford waterfront, near the heart of the city centre. Downstairs offers a large bar, seating and a dance floor for nights, with a smaller seating area upstairs. As it is part of the Wetherspoons/Lloyds chain it serves a variety of value hot and cold food seven days a week, with steak club on Tuesdays, curry nights on Thursdays and Sunday dinners each week. Daytimes offer a casual atmosphere, but at night the tempo becomes more upbeat as the DJ never fails to fill the dance floor.

The Square Sail (more commonly known as just ‘Lloyds’) is one of my favourite places in Lincoln. No matter what time of day it is, the atmosphere is always great. The prices are very appealing too!
Whether it’s just popping in for a quick drink and some food, or heading there at the start of a night on the town, The Square Sail never fails to please. The layout is perfect for both ocassions with a dance floor, group seating and more private seating for quieter times.
The mix of music at night is guaranteed to get your feet tapping, and is at such a level that you can still have a chat. Ther bar staff are friendly and efficient, and the bouncers keep a watchful eye to make sure no trouble occurs, and you feel safe.
Located near to town, and with a cashpoint just round the corner, The Square Sail is suitable for everyone. Highly recommended!
