Revolution Bar
Revolution serves fresh food all day and specialises in all things Vodka. Located on Park Street, ( which you can find by turning left after Walkabout from the high street ) Revolution is a modern bar, that describes itself as “the place to eat, drink and socialise in Lincoln”.
There is a dancefloor at the back of the venue, including a DJ Set that caters to many Student nights.
They also have a Party Planner who can help you if you want to organise a party, be it a Champagne Reception, Canapes or just a group of people getting together.
Their Vodka flavours are all made by their very own Vodka Factory, and they also serve an extensive range of Cocktails.
The current daily promotions are -
Monday is ‘Sub-Structure’. Sub-Structure is the stage for bragging rights among DJ’s. Regular competitions and events along with a dedicated crowd will leave you vibrating until the next morning, hours after the main event. Also on a Monday we will now be doing half price food!!
Tuesday is half price on food AND drink!! *excludes Champagne and Director’s Pitchers.
Wednesday is I Love Vodka – the biggest student party in the UK every Wednesday. A massive mix of eclectic tunes from the charts to old skool favourites. All offers on the night though are only redeemable if you have a privilege card.
Thursday is ‘Chambulls’ – classic anthems & current floor fillers, along with the best in commercial RnB, house, indie, electro & dubstep.
Friday is the Friday Night Feast – see our promo girls on the street for a stamp to get 2-4-1 cocktails or £2.50 double vodka red bull!!

Sitting just off the main high street it’s easy to miss this swanky bar, so when you reach Walkabout turn left into the side alley and you will soon spot it. It is open Monday to Wednesday from 11.30am until 1am.
From Thursdays through to Saturdays it opens at the same time but doesn’t close until 2am, and on Sundays it’s 12pm until 12am. Revolutions is great for hosting parties as you can book your own table, or even the whole club which can hold up to 300 people- you can even have your own free party planner.
There is a brand new Spring 2010 food menu with prices for main meals ranging from £7 to £10; they also have a great cocktail menu. Revolutions hosts nights with great deals such as Mondays where you can book a table for you and your friends and get free pizza and free champagne- perfect!
For the students, the best night would be Wednesday. It’s named ‘tossers’ and when you order a drink, you call heads or tails. The barman will flip the coin and if you get it right you get exactly what you just ordered again- but for free!
The dance floor isn’t massive but impressive for what is far more of an upmarket bar than a club. It has a good atmosphere and is perfect for a calmer night out. On Saturdays it tends to get very busy and ordering a drink can take a while but this is the price you pay for great music, great drinks and great surroundings.

Review by John McClarenSubmitted on April 4th, 2010 at 10:34 pmI was in there over the weekend and it was rammed, but the bar staff were still having a good time and looked to be enjoying themselves which put me in a good mood for the rest of the night. i visit Lincoln regularly but this was the first time i have ever been in but i will definately be coming back here before anywhere else next time i visit Lincoln

Let me just congradulate all the staff that work there. They are excellent fun, you feel like you've known them for years, they look like they really enjoy what they do, and know thier job inside out (Which is good as this type of bar offers numerous different types of vodka cocktail) This Bar was supposed to be a stop off on the way to a club, i couldn't tell you the name of that club as we stayed in revolution all night! If you want value for money and a great, safe, enjoyable night out, then this bar is the place to be but hey, thats only my opinion. Go and check out revolution and see for your self, you won't be dissapointed, trust me.
