Lamb & Flag
The recently opened Lamb and Flag, a Samuel Cooper free house replaced bar LN2 in March 2010. The pub leans towards the more traditional style and serves a variety of drinks including regional cask ales.
The Lamb and Flag also serves a range of food including, hand carved roast joints which are freshly prepared each day in the traditional pub environment. The pub is managed by Johnathon Falarczyt and is open seven days a week 9am-11pm with food served everday until 9pm. Children are welcome in the pub until 7pm. The pub doesn’t have any specific student night or a DJ like the old LN bar, but may set one up in future if there is a demand.

Review by Ann DavisSubmitted on May 5rd, 2011 at 7:37 amwe called in for Sunday lunch on 22/05/11 and have to say it was very disappointing. My husband had fish and chips, the fish was very watery and the chips and peas barely warm and as for presentation looked to have been thrown on the plate - i had the carvery, the turkey was fine again everything else barely warm and the roast potatoes were nearly black. i must add we have eaten here before and found it to be a much higher standard particularly on the curry nights.
