Christopher’s Bar, situated in Newland in the heart of the city, is one of the only well-known gay friendly scenes in Lincoln. The venue hosts a variety of entertainment ranging from live bands and karaoke to salsa classes, alongside the resident drag queen Miss Kandy Kane who also performs a monthly cabaret show.
Despite the specialized label, the contemporary style and atmosphere of the venue welcomes a range of customers from across the community, as well as those visiting Lincoln who enjoy the entertainment scene.
The bar is open Tuesday to Thursday 8pm-12am, and Friday and Saturday 8pm-3am.

Review by tracySubmitted on April 4rd, 2012 at 9:55 pmLiked my visit this weekend. Not rammed but alot busier than the straight bar we started in and more fun. The drag queen was funny. Someone next to us moaned about the drinks prices but we paid £4 for a double smirnoff and £2 80 i think for a pint which we were well happy with. Nice place and nice crowd we'll be back!

There was a good mix of ages in and the cliqueiness that was here before seems to have disappeared. Apparently they have a new manager and he's obviously doing something right. A return visit will be in order very soon!
